UHF VEHICLE & PRODUCT SCANNERS

Access Control helps us to restrict access to a premises. There is various methods that can be applied to Access Control and one of these are UHF Long Range Scanners. These scanners are capable of reading a UHF RFiD Tag. These UHF tags has specifically been designed to stick to a vehicle windscreen, or perhaps any product that you would like to tag, thus making it very easy to install and not damaging the vehicle or product.

UHF Long Range Scanners has specifically been designed to scan up to 12 meters. The scanners can be installed at your company entrance to scan vehicle approacing the gate or parking barrier/boom. In the event that a uhf tag has been fitted to a vehicle windscreen, the approaching vehicle's tag will be scanned. The system will run the tag through the controller to check if it is a valid uhf tag/vehicle approacing. Should the uhf tag in the vehicle be valid, the controller will signal the parking boom/barrier or gate to open for the approaching vehicle.

Benifits of the UHF tag and readers are that no gate remotes are required, thus saving on remote batteries. No manual card swipe is required, thus the user never needs to open his/her vechicle window. Tags are inexpensive in comparison to replacing a standard gate remote.

Access Control Software play a unique roll in allowing the user to configure the system. Various features are available on the software:

Access Levels: This feature will allow a user access to certain areas only, while restricting other areas where he or she is not authorized to enter.

Time Zone: The Time Zone is very important, by linking a user to a certain Time Zone, we can control the time he or she is allowed acces to an area. If we had to use the Lunch Room as an example, no employee should be allowed to gain access to the Lunch Room unless it is Lunch Time.

Anti-Passback: This is a very unique feature that was originally designed for Cards or Tags. Anti-Passback prevents a user to pass his card back to a friend who forgot his RFiD card at home, thus the RFiD card can only be used once going in. Once the user is in, the system will know that he has entered the zone, and therefore cannot enter the zone again unless he exits the zone by using his RFiD card.

There are many more features to the our Access Contol System, please setup a meeting with us to discuss your unique requirements.
